DAILY FED CATTLE MARKET UPDATE

Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday

Trade in the Texas Panhandle on Friday was limited on light demand. The last established market was Thursday with live sales at 125.00. Trading in Kansas is moderate to active on moderate demand Friday afternoon. Compared to last week, live sales are .50-1.00 lower at 125.00-125.50.  Trading and demand in the Northern Plains and Western Cornbelt has been light. In Nebraska, a few early live sales sold at 125.50. Compared to last week early dressed sales sold steady to 2.00 lower from 200.00-202.00. In Colorado few live sales are 1.50 lower than last week at 125.00. In the Western Cornbelt, a few early live sales sold at 125.00, and dressed sales when compared to last week sold 2.00-5.00 lower form 198.00-202.00.
